In this class we’ll prepare fresh flatbread and flavorful, marinated olives to accompany. Next we'll crack Mediterranean cooking with two fundamental flavorings, pesto and sofrito. Learn to make pesto the traditional way and explore its myriad of uses - from fish to pasta to chicken. We'll then prepare sofrito, a flavor base made up of carrot, onion, and celery. You’ll go home with ready to bake flatbread, your own marinated olives and a cup of pesto and sofrito. You’ll also go home with all the tools needed to cook and eat the Mediterranean way!
