  1. Flavorful and rich lasagna! 4 Star Review

Posted by on 12th Aug 2015

I was pleasantly surprised with my first order with EatLocal. The lasagna came with easy instructions and baked well within the time frame they specified. The noodles remained semi-firm and it didn't resemble the typical frozen meal. I enjoyed the rich flavors of this dish. It's very creamy and smooth and different than a lasagna made with ricotta cheese. I'm looking forward to trying their other dishes.

  2. Delish! 5 Star Review

I'm very pregnant, and cooking these days seems very daunting - so my husband picked this up on his way home from work - easy peasy, and super delicious! Took 45 minutes, and we let it sit about 5 minutes to cool, then topped it with some grated parmesan and red pepper flakes. The two of us devoured the tray, with no leftovers.

This lasagna cooked up perfectly. I found it easy to serve and my children liked it as much as I did.

  4. Highly Recommend 5 Star Review

This lasagna is quite good. Nice traditional taste, with plenty of meat and cheese. Easy to serve and doesn't break apart.

  5. Multiple steps up from other lasagna 5 Star Review

Posted by on 30th Oct 2014

No doubt that in your lifetime, you've picked up a lasagna from the grocery store to throw in your oven for a hot lunch and discovered, much like Jesse from Breaking Bad, that the photo on the packaging makes it look far better than the greasy, oily mess of tomato splattering and cheese remnants. No one should resort to those types of lasagna that is no doubt derived from downer pastas.

Eat Local manages to come up with a lasagna that is just a step down from your Italian grandmother's recipe. It's a veritable avalanche of appropriate lasagna happenings in your mouth. It doesn't try to reinvent the ol' lasagna wheel, but just does it just right.
